About Versland

Rooted in the Westland

Founded over 20 years ago and already through a lot. Versland Selection's roots are in the Westland region.

2001

Formation of Versland Selection.

2002

First independent property.

All activities have been brought together in one location in Poeldijk.

2010

Expansion of current premises due to large growth in grower base.

2015

Takeover of The Radish Project.

Eight radish growers join the Versland family, together representing 25 hectares. This makes Versland the biggest player in Dutch loose radishes.

2015

Purchase of business premises.

The premises will be purchased and expanded to as much as 9,000 m2 to meet growing product demand.

2016

Renovation project.

The industrial hall will be fully adapted to the needs and requirements of our time. A complete renovation is achieved.

Among other things, there will be a redesign of the washing lines (of lamb's lettuce, rocket and radish, among others), the water treatment plant will be completely renovated and the refrigeration technology will be replaced.

2017

Upgrade.

A thorough renovation and redesign of the premises, which resulted in a complete upgrade of Versland Selection.

2024

Today.

A traditional trading organisation in daily fresh vegetables with a good reputation.

Our proactive attitude towards innovation in cultivation methods and vegetable varieties ensure that we are a progressive partner in fresh!
